Racquet Stringing

  • SynGut

    Babolat Synthetic Gut 16 String

A solid all-around synthetic gut offering a surprising range of playability for a solid core nylon string. The 16 gauge version offers more durability and control, but a slightly stiffer feel compared to the 17 gauge version. This is a great option for players who want decent all-around performance without breaking the bank. It's also a very economical way of softening up a poly hybrid.

  • Powergy

    Babolat Powergy 16 String

For players whose style is almost at the competitive level, who use standard or medium-size rackets and are looking for performance or resistance. Double wrap polyamid. Extra elasticity for more power: 18% better elasticity than conventional synthetic gut (single wrap). One of the benchmarks for competitive players because of its power and touch.

  • Hurricane

    Pro Hurricane

Babolat Pro Hurricane is a firm and durable co-poly with remarkable control and spin. In order to improve feel and comfort, Babolat utilizes a material called Xtrem Futur Polymer. Our playtesters noted a slightly softer feel than with traditional polyesters. When taking big rips form the baseline, they noted the same great control and spin found with the stiffer Babolat co-polys. While still quite firm, Pro Hurricane is one of the softer co-polys in the Babolat Line.

  • RPM

    RPM Blast

The string of choice for Stan Wawrinka, this durable co-poly string is very, very spin friendly. The slick surface of RPM Blast allows the main strings to slide out of alignment, grab the ball and then snap back to add spin to the shot. While all co-poly monofilaments do this to some extent, our lab tests confirm that RPM Blast is exceptional in this regard. Though RPM Blast offers a slightly softer feel than traditional polyesters, it is by no means the softest co-poly available. It is an ideal choice for big hitters with heavier racquets seeking maximum control, durability, and spin.

  • Ultra Tour

    Ultra Tour

HEAD Ultra Tour 16 is a monofilament copolymer/polyester mix string designed for durability with the benefit of a soft elastic feel. Perfect for power players, Head Ultra Tour 16 offers good spin, durability and control.

  • FXP Tour

    FXP Tour

The Head FXP Tour provides a nice blend of power, comfort and control. This string's core is comrpised of four speciallly treated polyamide monofilaments which are encased by multifilament wraps. The liquid outer coating helps decrease friction for more spin potential. This string provides excellent ball pocketing and impressive comfort.

  • Sonic

    Sonic Pro

Made from uniquely refined co-polymer polyester with a soft molecular construction, Sonic Pro string offers excellent control and touch. Though polyester strings are stiffer, durable, and more control-oriented, Sonic Pro is soft-feeling and offers a livelier response.

  • Sensation

A comfortable playing string with a nice blend of feel & playability. Known for its vibration dampening qualities, Sensation original lives up to its long-standing reputation as an arm-friendly string choice. It's a great option for players looking for a soft, playable alternative to natural gut, or for those seeking a more comfortable selection compared to the stiffer synthetic guts.

  • Luxilon

    Luxilon 4G

Durability meets playability in this very user-friendly co-poly with impressive tension maintenance. This thicker gauge is ideal for super open string patterns, especially for big hitters with durability concerns.
